Wanda Fay Pardue
Obituary
Wanda Fay Pardue, age 92, was a sweet loving wife, mother, and aunt. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Pearl and Alvin Smith. While serving in the military, she and her husband Charles traveled the world together with their sons, Arthur and Chris. A longtime resident of Augusta, Georgia, Wanda moved to Texas in 2016 in failing health. She graciously accepted this new phase of her life and embraced the support of her extended family, especially her nieces Janice Kimbell, Gail Crawford, and Linda Bagley. All who knew Wanda loved her, and we were blessed to share her final Golden Years.
Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles; her two sons, Arthur, and Chris; and her siblings: Edwin, Roy, Bob, Larry, Bill and Dorothy. Wanda is now enjoying a glorious family reunion.
Graveside services will be held at DFW National Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Tha you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands
