Steve Brown age 69 of The Colony, TX went home to be with His Lord on April15,2023.He is survived by his wife Mary (Flannery) Brown, son Ben Brown, wife Liz, granddaughter Paige and grandsons Dylan and Brenden, daughter Kendall Brown and grandson Presley Husted. He was proceeded in death by father and mother Glen and Georgia (Davies)Brown, and one sister Linda (Brown) Tom. He is survived by siblings Carol (Brown) Tom of Pearl City, Hawaii, Merle Brown of Dumfries, Virginia, Karen (Brown) Surdukan of Anna Texas, Kristi Brown of Dallas, Texas, Mike Brown of Cedar Falls, Iowa., Todd Brown of Mason City, Iowa.
Steve was born August 8,1953 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1973 and Hawkeye Institute of Technology. He was employed by Lennox Industries of Carrollton, Texas in the HVAC industry as an engineer for the last 49 years.
Steve was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and accepted Christ as a child. He started Awana chapters at 2 Baptist churches. He taught Sunday School to adults and children. He was currently a member of First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Texas, the Fields.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 10 a.m.at First Baptist Church at the Fields,1401 Carrollton Pkwy, Carrollton, Texas 75010.Memorials may be made to the Friendship House in care of First Baptist Church at the Fields.
