Obituary of
Sandra Mary Stout-O’Connor
Sandi passed peacefully with her family around her on October 8,2021 in Plano ,Tx. at the age of 87. She is survived by her sister Ann Stout Johnston, her children Daniel O’Connor (Debra) and Colleen O’Connor Aspinwall (John) and her grandchildren Ashley Aspinwall Butterfield (Christian), Taylor Aspinwall and Jennifer O’Connor. She was predeceased by her first husband Carl O’Connor ,by her husband Ron Oedewaldt and by her brother James Stout.
Sandi graduated from University of Texas Arlington with a degree in Mathematics. She went on to become a well loved teacher specializing in mathematics for children with learning disabilities. She developed a program and wrote the books for these children which is still in use today. Her loves were reading , travel and her grandchildren. She will be missed by her family including her nieces and great nieces.
A private memorial will be held by her family who wish to thank the staff at Auberge Plano for their loving care. Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Shelton School Scholarship Fund.
