“I highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brother’s arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks.”

Obituary of
Rosemary Garza Buantello
Rosemary Garza Buantello was born and raised in Dallas, Texas on September 22nd, 1971. She was the daughter of Mario and Rose Garza, and little sister to Rebecca, Isaac, Diane, and Mario Jr. Mary was wife to Eric Buantello for 32 years, a loving mother to Michael, Destiny, and Summer, and a wonderful grandmother to Anthony, Aubrey, and Aiden. She was a beloved aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many.
Those who knew her can testify she was a strong woman of faith, willing to pray for any and everyone. She sought out the truth daily, through reading God’s Word. Mary loved going to church, worshiping God, and fellowshipping with family. She loved to praise the Lord throughout her day by singing- just like her mother Rose.
Mary was fascinated by many different cultures and loved learning about them. She often branched out to try various cuisines- she was always cooking new dishes in her gadget-filled kitchen. One of Mary’s many joys was spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She enjoyed shopping and game nights- Mary was considered the Queen of Monopoly. She was always enthusiastic to share her passions and interests with those she loved.
It was truly a privilege to know the special little lady known as Mary- her vibrant personality filled a room like no one else could. She was most definitely the life of the party- always laughing and singing- Mary was a true delight to be around.
Rosemary is surely walking the Streets of Gold after having met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her legacy of faith and passion will carry on through the fire she set in the hearts of all- a legacy she set in motion by simply being herself.
Rosemary’s funeral service will be held at LifePoint Church (3203 W Davis St.) in Dallas, TX on Thursday, September 7th , 2023 at 6:30pm.
