Maria Josefina Perez
Obituary
María Josefina Pérez also known as “Chepa, Jose, and Fina”. She was born on June 6th, 1960, in Coahuila Mexico. Maria gave her last breath on April 8th, 2023, holding her children’s hands at Kindred Hospital in Houston, TX.
Maria is survived by her four children Roberta, Raymond, Maribel, and Guadalupe. Her 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 beloved pets Paco and Sushi.
Maria was a strong woman who raised her children as a single mom working tirelessly to give them what she could. Maria was later diagnosed with Lupus and Pulmonary Fibrosis at the age of 59. It was then that she started her tough journey in hopes of one day receiving a lung transplant. Unfortunately, that day would not be possible as she faced many obstacles and God finally called her home to rest.
She will forever be missed and admired for her will to live. In her own words “soy fuerte” she is strong.

Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Thank you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands
