Obituary
Larry Wayne Tucker, born March 4, 1939, went home to be with his Lord on March 17, 2022, in
Dallas, Texas after an extended illness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Tucker, and two sons, Dr. Michael Tucker, his wife
Cheryl, and Pete Tucker, his wife Robbi. Additionally, he is survived by seven grandchildren,
two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and one brother. He was predeceased by his
sons, Wayne Tucker and Scott Tucker, and survived by Scott’s wife Cathey.
Larry was a native of Dallas, Texas who was a longtime executive and Vice-President with
Thermalloy Inc. He was instrumental in developing heat sinks and semiconductors in the
electronic industry. One of his greatest joys was to spend time with family in the hill country,
hunting, fishing, boating, and off-roading. He was an active member of First Baptist Church at
The Fields participating in mission endeavors in New York City and Dallas, working with
children for many years.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Larry’s life on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 2:00 PM
at First Baptist Church at The Fields, 1401 Carrollton Parkway, Carrollton, Texas 75010
(firstfields.org).
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the church prior to the funeral
service.
The committal service will be private for family only.
Friends and family who wish to give a memorial donation in lieu of flowers may send their gift
