Joel Edmond Noel
Obituary
Joel Edmond Noel, 66, passed away January 24, 2022.
A lifelong resident of Carrollton, he attended R. L. Turner and kept many of those friends for life. He enjoyed the rock and roll years in the late 70’s as a member of the Sqweez band along with Danny Duncan, Rick Craft and Stan Sale and they entertained the R. L. Turner party crowd many weekends at their warehouse studio. He was of great service to his parents in their later years. A good guy with a big heart and continual sense of humor, he will be missed by many. He leaves behind his long time companion Sheri Hanner, daughter Jennifer Schnitz husband Erich and grandson Owen and brother Justin Noel and wife Vicki.
A celebration of his life will be planned when conditions permit.

Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Tha you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands

Very sorry to hear of your passing my friend rest in peace forever
Joel was very special to me and my first husband!!! He was even one of our groomsmen! My heart breaks for his family and I pray for peace and comfort for all that loved him!!
I’m sorry for your family’s loss. Joel always treated me with kindness all through school. Always enjoyed his music. It’s been many years since I’ve seen him when we bumped into each other at a concert but I will always remember him. Prayers for the Noel family.
My first job was at Texas print and supply on the square in Carrollton in the mid 70’s where I met Joel. He was such a great guy. Always happy and positive.
I will never forget him or his kindness.
I always thought the world of Joel. We knew each other for a long time in our school years. Sorry for the loss of a good man.
Such sad news. Praying for comfort for his loved ones.
I grew up with Joel on Francis St and we had pretty much all classes together in elementary. He was a kind soul, had the best smile and was a dang good musician. I have a lot of good memories with his parents and your family. Praying for your peace.
