Doris was a Carrollton High School student when I first knew her. With her blonde hair and fair complexion she was a beautiful young friendly girl. I am happy to have been in contact with her over the years. Thanks for the friendship. Phyllis Bedker Allen.
Sweetest lady ever. I joined the family through marriage and Doris Jean welcomed me with her sweetest smile. Many wonderful memories shared learning about the Cox family. Doris was my mother for 70 years. I loved and respected her so very much. Her passing has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled. I can only find consolation in knowing that she is with her Lord and loved ones. She has no pain, no worries and is young, whole and beautiful.
