Dora Elva Zertuche
Obituary
Dora Elva Zertuche was born in Anáhuac, Nuevo León, Mexico on February 20, 1942 and passed away on March 8, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. She immigrated to the United States in the 1960s, where she married her first husband and had two children. She worked for many years in a manufacturing facility then went on to build and manage a myriad entertainment businesses, primarily catering to the Mexican community. She is survived by her husband, Vidal Jara, with whom she was married for almost 30 years of joy and companionship. They lived in Carrollton, Texas from the day they met until the day she passed. Dora is also survived by her son and daughter, Tony Zertuche and Denise Webb, and grandchildren, Michael, Lizeth, Lily, and JD. She was completely devoted to her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and sacrificed immensely throughout her life for their upbringing. She was a wonderful human who touched so many lives and made impacts on almost every person who was so fortunate to have met her. It is in that spirit that we ask you all to raise a glass of tequila in her name and help us honor this incredible woman. We love you Mama and will miss you so much.

Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Tha you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands
