Charles “Chuck” Ray McCommas
Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Ray McCommas went to the stars on March 22, 2022, at age 71.
He battled the effects of multiple strokes for 6 years. He was born on October 18, 1950. He was a longtime resident of Irving, TX. Chuck had music in his soul. He spent many years in the entertainment business promoting, and getting songs on the radio for the great rock bands and country acts of the 70’s and 80’s. Chuck loved all music but truly loved the blues. He also loved movies, TV, animals particularly baby animals, art and design. He was an incredible gardener, and loved growing tomatoes of every kind. Chuck was a great storyteller, with many a story to tell. He will be missed by many.
He leaves behind his wife, Monica McCommas of 29 years. His mother Patricia McCommas, sister Denise Martinez, Brother-in-law James and nephew Brandon
A very special thank you to all the staff at Precise Hospice and Las Brisas Wellness and Rehab for taking special loving care of him for such a very long time.
Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Tha you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands

We are so sorry that we could not make it. I will always remember your stories of music and seeing you at all the music shows. Hector and I will say a prayer for the family to get through this difficult time.
