Obituary of Cameron Jeremiah Williams

Cameron Jeremiah Williams, 21, affectionately known by family and friends as Cam, Cam Cam, and Smiley, was born on January 9, 2002, at Medical City Dallas Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was raised in Coppell, Texas, a place where his vibrant spirit and joyful presence touched the lives of many. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cameron on August 25, 2023.

Cameron attended Valley Ranch Elementary and Coppell Middle School West, then continued on to Coppell High School, building so many meaningful and lasting relationships along the way. His love for football began at a young age, and he pursued this passion by playing football at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.

While his athletic achievements were impressive, Cam’s true legacy lies in the way he interacted with others. His infectious smile and boundless energy could light up any room. Cam’s remarkable ability to treat everyone with respect and courtesy earned him a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.

Cameron enjoyed hanging out with friends, going to the gym, dancing, playing with his dog, Nutella, and crafting his favorite smoothies. He also loved cars. Notably, he found solace and inspiration in reading the Bible, nurturing his spiritual connection.

Cameron’s legacy lives on through his loving and devoted mother, Shun Davis, and Debra ‘Nana’ Thomas. He is also survived by his Aunt Timika Turner and Uncle Jarrod Turner.

Cameron Jeremiah Williams will forever remain a cherished son, grandson, nephew, friend, and teammate. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship, sportsmanship, and kindness that will forever remind us of the beautiful soul he was.

A memorial service to celebrate Cameron’s life will be held at North Dallas Funeral Home, in Farmers Branch, Tx, followed by the burial at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell, Texas. This will be an opportunity for family, friends, and all those touched by Cameron’s spirit to come together and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.

In the face of this profound loss, we remember Cam for his ability to make others smile, his genuine respect for all, and his enduring positivity. His memory and the impact he made will forever remain. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the vibrant, kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of many.

“A beautiful soul is never forgotten, always remembered, forever cherished.”
