Obituary
Bernice Ruth (Petrov) Davis passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022. Bernice was born in St. Louis, to Arthur and Moda Petrov on September 7, 1929. Bernice was married to Don Wallace Davis (deceased).
Bee Bee was known for her creativity and energy. She was active for many years in The Dallas Lawyers’ Wives Association. She was also involved in Girl’s Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to underprivileged young women. She successfully ran her own decorating business, which included hand-marbled paper and bespoke lamp making. Always active, she was a force to be reckoned with.
Loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by six children: Felicia Verner, Joseph Bender (Sarah), Marcia Estes (Boyce), Michael Bender (Jean), Kirk Wallace Davis, and Ann Davis (Barry), daughter-in-law, Cindy Camp, and 13 grandchildren: Barrett Verner, Morgan Verner, Ariel Bender, Milan Bender, Havilah Bender, Aaron Bender, Ethan Bender, Isaac Bender, Zachary Estes, Emily Estes, Matthew Bender, Mason Bender, Grace Bender, Zach Martin, Diana Tompkins, Daniel Wallace Davis; and ten great grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis will be laid to rest next to her husband Don during a private internment with the family at Restland Cemetery.
