Morgan, Martha Naomi
Obituary
Martha N. Morgan, has joined her husband, Albert L. Morgan and eldest son this day at the age of 87. She leaves behind her younger brother and younger sister, as well as four children, six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
“Naomi” was born in Bell, Florida, Baptized in Akins Spring, attended Priscilla Baptist Church and all levels of school at Bell High School. She was fortunate, indeed, having been raised along the beautiful Swanee River in Florida, helping her parents with her five other siblings and working the farm until she married and set off to see the rest of the country upon marrying a Navy man in 1951.
She criss-crossed the country multiple times, rearing five children while living the life of a military wife. Her final destination was Arlington, TX, where she will again join her beloved husband. She had the amazing talent, patience and passion to surround herself with so much that was beautiful, whether through her crafts or anything that bloomed. She loved to volunteer through her singing at senior homes, and will be sorely missed by all of her friends, especially in Houston, TX, with whom she spent so many wonderful years bringing joy to others. No one who really knew her doubts that she is already digging up dirt and getting ready to start planting flowers to make Heaven even brighter. And, her beloved son, Larry, is right there by her side.
Interment will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:15 a.m. at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
Please send family condolences on this website.
Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Thank you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands
