Obituary
Edward Roney Hyde passed away peacefully March 17, 2014. Born July 22, 1924 in Mabank, Texas, he was preceded in death by father, Anthony Runnels Hyde and mother, Viola Hyde as well as brother, Reverend John Lee Hyde. Veteran of U. S. Navy, graduate of Terrell Military School, attended Texas Christian University and Southern Methodist
University.
Ed is retired from Sun Oil Company after 40 years as Director of Human Resources for International Operations, was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Ann, and dear extended family. Our heartfelt gratitude to Faith Presbyterian Hospice for their
professionalism, support and caring of Ed.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Ed’s life will be held at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church on Friday, April 4 at 2 pm. A reception will be held at Presbyterian Village North following the memorial service.
