Obituary
Tom Delva Smith was born April 24, 1942, in Panama City, Florida to parents Delva and Thelma Smith. He passed away peacefully September 29, 2021.
At the age of 3 Tom moved to Texas after losing both of his parents to live with family members. After high school Tom married his first wife Doris and he worked for a chemical company in Odessa, Texas. Tom eventually went on to open and run his own chemical company and was very successful with it. Through the years Tom divorced and moved to Arkansas and found the love of his life and married Charlotte Dianne Bowen in 1993. Together they ran Jacksonville Floor Covering in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
They are members of Church at Willow Beach in North Little Rock. He spent his retirement days fishing and tinkering around helping the neighbors with projects around the neighborhood.
Tom was preceded by his son, Donald Ray Smith. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Dianne Smith; daughter, Janice Darst and husband, John; son, Tommy Smith Jr. and wife, Laura. He also has 3 grandchildren, Heather Stroud, Justin Holley, and Quinton Holley and 12 great grandchildren that he dearly adored.
There will be no services at this time.
