Rosenberg, Janet
Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Rosenberg (née Frazier) announce her sudden, yet peaceful, passing on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the age of 84.
Janet was born in Dallas in 1937 to Walter and Grace Frazier. She attended Baude Story Junior High School, and was a proud graduate of South Oak Cliff High School. Mom to three and Mamaw to fourteen, Janet became wife to her late husband, Leonard, not once, but twice. They married first in 1990 and then again in 2007.
A well-traveled, fun-loving woman, Janet, believed in living life to the fullest. She loved good company, good food, and good wine. In fact, she never met a bottle of wine she didn’t like. After formally retiring, she continued working, handing out wine samples to customers at local grocery stores.
She will be missed by her children, Vicky Van Vleck (Phillip), Randy Seale (Margaret), Angela O’Brien (Robert); stepson, Marshall Rosenberg (Robin); grandchildren, Michael Cotten (Elisha), Jeffrey Cotten (Carrie), Kevin Cotten, Kelly Price (Jody), Rylie O’Brien, Ayden O’Brien; step-grandchildren Marshall Jr. and Michael Rosenberg; great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Ethan, Sydney, Katy, Jeffrey, Abigail, Cody, Lainey; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.
Janet was predeceased by husband Leonard; sister, Marjorie, brother Ronald; and her parents Walter and Grace.
A celebration of Janet’s life will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, TX.
A private family inurnment ceremony will be held at DFW National Cemetery on September 24, 2021.
The family would like to thank HarborChase of Plano for their loving care of Janet.
Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Tha you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands
