To my funny flying friend who hated to wear a watch. Maybe you knew something back then-that you didn’t want to keep track of time because it does go by too quickly. Josh and Allie, your Mom was so proud of you. She talked about both of you all the time. I know your Mom will watch over you. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was always happy when I saw Cindi on my crew list because she was such a calm and gentle person. I literally think she is one of the most selfless people I have ever known. I always looked forward to hearing how Josh and Alle were doing and maybe sharing a new recipe that she had tried out. She will be greatly missed but certainly not forgotten.

Dearest Allie and Josh- I feel like I have known both of you since the day you were born as your precious mother loved you both more than words can say, and I loved hearing all about both of you each and every time we flew together or saw each other- I will always have the nearest, dearest, and fondest memories of your dear mother as a friend and co-worker as she was and always will be such a gift to all who knew her and worked with her- I should have known we were kindred spirits since day 1 of knowing each other as I see now that we shared the same birthday and year- 10/10/1960- Oh how I wish this had come up so we could have laughed out loud about that one!! We always had the best time anytime we were together and we were always laughing about something- Allie and Josh I want you both to know that we all loved her as much as you do, and we surround you both and your family with loads of love, hugs, prayers and support always. I pray all of your wonderful precious memories help to bring you peace and comfort today and always- Love her so much and love you both. xoxoxo

    Dear Allie and Josh,
I flew with your Mom way back when Josh was in Kindergarten. We flew a whole month together and it was wonderful to know her.
Time went on and I’d fly with her again and get updated on your lives.
She adored you two and it was obvious!
Last time we visited on a trip I saw pictures of your artwork, Josh!
Just wanted to share that she is and always be that special Mom and friend.
May you be comforted that your Mom meant a lot to so many Flight Attendant friends. She has that smile and glint in her eyes. I will always remember her chuckle or giggle. It makes me smile.

"I highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brother’s arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks."

"The unexpected passing of my husband was a very difficult and trying time for my boys and I. I had the good fortune of having Abel walk us thru this process. Working with him was such a weight off my shoulders. He was professional, so polite and helpful. The service was beautiful – never did I feel rushed or like just another customer. They gave me the time I needed and I appreciate that so much! Also Mr. Brooks took special care of my husband as he is a fellow mason. I would highly recommend working with Abel and North Dallas Funeral Home."

"Everyone at North Dallas Funeral Home was very professional, kind, and caring, in all steps of the process from the first phone call to the service held at their location. "As soon as the call was made to Mr. Wayne Baxter all of my brothers final needs were taken care of. They walked me through what to expect the timeline and even dealt with the cemetery and the grave diggers. I was a hot mess due to my brothers sudden and unexpected passing. The experience was seamless and made it easy for my brother’s friends and family to say their last goodbyes. They even had the size to accommodate such a large group that showed up . The package deals that they offered were cost-effective and didn’t break my bank account. They included extras and accommodations that other funeral homes charged extra for. All the staff was amazing including Mr. Don Dodd . I can not thank them enough for all their help."

Dear John,

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Tha you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you.

Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad.

Love, The Gillilands
