Quinones Martinez, Juan


Juan Quiñones Martinez passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 89; he passed away at home, surrounded by his family.  He was born February 12, 1932 in Miguel Negrete, Durango, Mexico to Pablo Quiñones and Socorro Martinez.

He is survived by his siblings Graciela, Socorro and Beto, sons Miguel Quiñones, Juan Quiñones and his wife Belia Quiñones , Martin Quiñones  and his wife Irma Quiñones, his daughter Maria Tovar and her husband Alvaro Tovar, as well as 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Maria del Carmen Quiñones, his parents, and his brothers Armando, Miguel, Aureliano, Pancho, and his sister Rita.  He will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

The visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm at the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas 75234.  A mass in his honor will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 10:00 am at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 2800 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234, followed by interment at Cavalry Hill Cemetery at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.


Juan Quiñones Martinez falleció el 9 de marzo de 2021, a la edad de 89 años; falleció en su casa, rodeado de su familia. Nació el 12 de febrero de 1932 en Miguel Negrete, Durango, México, hijo de Pablo Quiñones y Socorro Martinez.

Le sobreviven sus hermanas Graciela y Socorro, y su hermano Beto, sus hijos Miguel Quiñones, Juan Quiñones y su esposa Belia Quiñones , Martin Quiñones  y su esposa Irma Quiñones, y su hija Maria Tovar y su esposo Alvaro Tovar, sus 20 nietos, y todos sus bisnietos.  Le precedieron su esposa Maria del Carmen Quiñones, sus padres y sus hermanos Armando, Miguel, Aureliano, Pancho y su hermana Rita.  Sera extrañado profundamente por su familia, amigos y todos los que lo conocieron.

La velación se llevará a cabo de las 5:00 pm a las 7:00 pm, con un Rosario a las 6:00 pm, el 16 de marzo de 2021 en North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas 75234.  Una misa será celebrada ha las 10 de la mañana en la Iglesia Maria Inmaculada, 2800 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234, con su entierro a seguir en el cementerio Calvary Hill, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you.
