Obituary

Corey Alexander Motte of Forney, Texas passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the age of 27.  He was born January 4, 1993 in Dallas, Texas.

He was an energetic, enthusiastic, little boy, who loved amusement parks, bacon, music and family. He enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. As Corey grew so did his love for life. Corey was a loving husband who enjoy traveling, watching movies, cooking and going on adventures with his wife. Corey ‘s favorite day of the week was Sunday. His Sundays were spent cooking a perfect breakfast, watching the New England Patriots, and having meaningful conversations with his wife. Corey’s life passion were movies and film making. He spent his last years of life devoted to filmmaking and various media projects with his best friend.  Corey ‘s infectious smile, noble heart and brilliance will be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dayany Peredo, his parents, Richard and Janet Motte, his grandmother, Dorothy Ledbetter, his sister, Jessica Waymire, his nephews, Trustin and Madden Waymire, and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The family will be receiving visitors on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.

Funeral mass will be on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Road, Dallas, Texas.

Following the mass there will be a procession to Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, 12649 Lake June Road, Mesquite, Texas 75180, where Corey will be laid to rest.

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you.
