It saddens me deeply to see this news. John and I had known each other since we were 12 yrs old. He was not only the best friend I ever had but was like my brother. We were such good friends that we could communicate without saying a word. We knew each other well. We lost touch with each other over the years and after some serious searching I was able to find him via his nephew on facebook. This was a happy time for me! We talked on the phone regularly but never dis get to see each other even though we only lived about an hour away from each other, and then my calls to him were no longer answered. I thought that maybe I had said something wrong and he no longer cared to talk to me. I would have been much happier if that were the case instead of this outcome. I’ve spent quite a bit of time with John and his Mom and Dad over the years and they are some of the best people I have had the opportunity to know in my lifetime. I am so very sorry for them to have lost him. Bruce & Mary, I know I am late finding this out but my thoughts are with you. Rest easy my friend.

John and I have been friends for many years. we became friends when he started attending Followers of Christ Church in Wills Point, Texas. He was a man who loved the Lord! He met his beautiful wife Tammy at our church. It is hard to find med dedicated to the Lord, Family and Friends. John was one of the few men who lived out his faith. I can say he was welcomed home to Heaven. John you will be missed. Blessing to you Tammy and the Family. also praying for you, the children and Bruce and Mary. God Bless. Donna Elms
