Obituary
Para Lee Whitmire Gann, 87, passed away on August 20th 2019 in her home in Richardson Texas with her family by her side. Para was born in Kenefic, Oklahoma on March 16th 1932.
Para was preceded in death by her parents Mike Bennett Whitmire and Lottie Bell Hood, her daughter Lisa Gann Ramirez, her sisters Ruby Lee Wix, Annie Bell Owens, Fanny Mae Johnson and brothers Joseph Riley Whitmire, Loyd Lee Whitmire, Cecil “Tince” Bennet Whitmire, Harold “Slim” Francis Whitmire and baby Joseph Whitmire.
Para is survived by her sister Cleo Imogene Golden, her daughter Pamela Gann Owens and sons Larry Gann and Kenneth Gann, Granddaughter Amy Kelly, Grandson Andrew Gann, and Great Granddaughters Rylie Hope Broom and Emmeline Pear Swift.
Para enjoyed going to church and worshiping the Lord. She loved to read the bible and had a green thumb for plants. She enjoyed cooking for her family and visiting friends. Even as her own health declined she could be counted on to lead a prayer for someone in need. She will be greatly missed by the ones who love her.
The family will be receiving visitors on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. The funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75234 at 12:30 pm.
