"I highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brother’s arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks."

"The unexpected passing of my husband was a very difficult and trying time for my boys and I. I had the good fortune of having Abel walk us thru this process. Working with him was such a weight off my shoulders. He was professional, so polite and helpful. The service was beautiful – never did I feel rushed or like just another customer. They gave me the time I needed and I appreciate that so much! Also Mr. Brooks took special care of my husband as he is a fellow mason. I would highly recommend working with Abel and North Dallas Funeral Home."

"Everyone at North Dallas Funeral Home was very professional, kind, and caring, in all steps of the process from the first phone call to the service held at their location. They help to make the process as easy and comforting in my opinion as to be expected, I would recommend their service to anyone. Thank You to everyone who helped me and my family.
Sincerely,"

"As soon as the call was made to Mr. Wayne Baxter all of my brothers final needs were taken care of. They walked me through what to expect the timeline and even dealt with the cemetery and the grave diggers. I was a hot mess due to my brothers sudden and unexpected passing. The experience was seamless and made it easy for my brother’s friends and family to say their last goodbyes. They even had the size to accommodate such a large group that showed up . The package deals that they offered were cost-effective and didn’t break my bank account. They included extras and accommodations that other funeral homes charged extra for. All the staff was amazing including Mr. Don Dodd . I can not thank them enough for all their help."

Dear John,
It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Thank you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands

To My Secret Santa!
As a child, like everyone else, Christmas was my favorite time of year, especially since Santa would come to our house. On Christmas Eve, Santa (Uncle Jody) would come to Henry & Judy’s house. My sister’s, cousins and even the adults would gather to greet Santa. To this day these memories are what Christmas’s are made of. I will always hold tight to My Secret Santa. Love you Uncle Jody
I remember your “scary” stories you told to us, nieces and nephews. They were the best. You always had a smile on your face and was such a sweet man.
My words can never explain what mu heart is feeling. I was so honored to be able to visit Uncle Jody at the home during his last days. I even spoke to him on the phone from New York a few times. Even though Uncle Jody had problems remembering people and their names – when I came into his room my dad ask Uncle Jody “do you know who this is?”… and Jody said “of course, that’s Joe Charles”!!!! (sigh) How can I ever express such an honor and how my heart was filled with love. My Uncle Jody – remembering me! – His boyfriend Joe has told me, Uncle Jody would often speak of me. (sigh) – Uncle Jody – I LOVE YOU and will miss you. You are in good company – your parents, brothers and sisters amongst many family and friends – including our little angel REX.May you ALL be at peace and pray for us! LOVE your nephew Joe Charles Prokopowicz-Godwin , my husband Thomas and our baby boy BRUNO
Words can never express what sadness I feel in my heart. What an honor it was to visit Uncle Jody in the home during his last days. When I left for my home in New York, Uncle Jody and I shared a few phone conversations. (sorry you didn’t get to visit us, but your spirit is surely here). I will NEVER forget when my dad asked Uncle Jody during our visit “do you know who this is?” I thought to myself it’s okay Jody – you are forgetting names and people – you’ve been through allot. Uncle Jody took a turn and said “sure, that’s Joe Charles!!” (sigh) such an honor – my Uncle remembered me. Jody’s boyfriend Joe told me – Uncle Jody would often talk about me. Uncle Jody – I love you and will miss you. You are now amongst some great people – along with your parents, brothers and sisters – many other friends and relatives and especially our baby REX. Be at peace Uncle Jody. WITH OUR LOVE —your nephew Joe Charles, my husband Tommy and our little boy BRUNO
To my Sweet Uncle Jody,
I wanted so much to be there for you as you were there for so many of our family. I don’t know what Aunt Fanny would have done without you after Uncle Ralph died. Thank you for all those years you took care of our Granny & Granddaddy. I feel so blessed that I got the chance to kiss you and say good bye just before you passed. Now you have the chance to win the gold trophy for “42 champion” and give back the “ceramic skunk” to JUDY. Rest in Peace Uncle Jody as you have earned your wings.
Jody…you were a great guy…I met you in 1969 when I moved Dallas & you shared an apartment with my older
brother Charles, you both attended Oak Cliff Assembly of God church. I move into the apartment & we all split the rent three way…I found that you were such a fantastic person I’m sure that you are missed by many…rest in peace my friend. Until we meet again my friend…
