Obituary of
Lozano, Pilar G.
Pilar G. Lozano passed away on Sunday, August 7th at her home in Coppell, Texas. She was 86 years old. Pilar is survived by her two children, Adelpha Elaine Rodriguez and Adolph Eddie Lozano, sisters Carolina Pierce and Pearl Gutierrez, brother Gilbert Gutierrez (Judy) and grandsons Lance Lozano (Michelle) and Marco C. Rodriguez.
Her passions included her faith, volunteering and creating and donating her crocheted crafts. She was a member of Shearith Israel since 1974, longtime member of Tiferet Israel, and a lifetime member of Hadassah. Her volunteering continued with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, Bea’s Kids, and Golden Acres where she was known for sharing with others her vibrancy, insight, baked goods and crafts. She supported interfaith relations and Hispanic brotherhood as well. Her vivid personality hid her past struggles including being a breast cancer survivor and growing up in Little Mexico, Dallas during the Great Depression.
A chapel service will be held at Shearith Israel Synagogue on Sunday, August 14 at 10:30 am with Avi Mitzner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her honor to the JCC Dallas Senior Adult Programs’ Bus Fund.
Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.

Elaine & Eddie, I would like to extend my condolences to both of you. I just found out of your mothers passing and I wasn’t sure how to contact either of you.
Please don’t hesitate to stop by my mother’s house as she is still living in the same house. I would love to see you so if you could let me know ahead of time, I would love to see both of you.
Take care & God bless, Antoinette
