Swinney, Peggy
Obituary
At 9:40 PM on Thursday, October 9th 2014 , Peggy Ann Collins Swinney, born March 30th, 1937, took a labored breath and ceased to take another.
With her loving husband of 58 years holding her hand, her mind was set free and God took her home to a place of peace and glory.
Peggy is preceded in death her mother, father, and two brothers.
She leaves behind her , with an abundance of love, her husband of 58 years, Donald D Swinney, three daughters, Tricia Kay Hall, Sheree Ann Armstrong, and Donna Michelle Morris.
She felt blessed to have 5 grandchildren, Daniel Taylor, Joey Taylor, Stephanie Foust, Matthew Armstrong, and Michael Armstrong; 3 great-grandchildren, Trista Taylor, Lana Taylor, and Bradon Taylor; Sister, Clara Lee of Memphis; Brother, Gary Collins of Mesquite; Sister, Rosemary Savage of Grand Prairie.
She was the true definition of loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and friend to all.
A great void is now an unwelcome part of this family, but all who knew her knows that she is in that perfect place of peace and contentment, and we will all be better equipped for our journey on this earth because of her.
So long Peggy, we will all see you later.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Foundation would be appreciated, and can be made at the memorial..
Also attendees to the memorial are encouraged to wear purple, the official color for this desease.
There will be no funeral service.
The Memorial service will be held at:
Place: First Assembly of God Church
11000 E. Northwest Highway
Dallas, Tx
Date: Thursday, October 16Th
Time 3.00 PM
Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
Testimonials

It was such a nice pleasure to meet you, and what you had planned for my father just took my breath away. It was so special to hear you tell us how he would just come over to talk with you. I think it brought him much comfort. Tha you for putting that Air Force article of him on your website. I am going to have a replica made of the painting of his plane to give you. Thank you again for all you have done to honor our dad. Love, The Gillilands
